hey everyone. so yesterday i put my 28 week vlog up on youtube- check it out! today i am officially 29 weeks- so only 10ish weeks left till my little girl is here. i really can't even explain in words how exciting the prospect of becoming a mommy is- and how excited i am to be her mommy :) every time i feel her moving in my belly- i just know that i love her SO much and it's a love that i have never felt before for anything. she is my little angel :o) i can't wait to have her here and hold her. it's so weird because all that is keeping us apart right now is the layer of skin on my belly! haha... but it will be SO different when i have her here!!!
i had a doc appt on monday and everything is going great! this weekend (sunday) jon and i are going to get our 2nd 4D ultrasound in manhattan... and we are getting a dvd! i will DEF post it up on youtube!!!

hey! so the baby shower was FANTASTIC! it was a blizzard and most of my guests still managed to make it out :) i posted a vlog on my youtube account- which i will now probably be updating with vlogs more often then i update my livejournal- so check that for pregnancy updates. i feel that i can better explain whats going on when i actually talk about it rather than writing it all. but i wanted to let you peeps know that!
this week i will be 29 weeks pregnant- and you know what that means?! only TEN weeks (ish) till my baby girl is here!!! i absolutely cannot wait to meet my Leah and be her mommy. i already love her more than life itself and i just cannot wait to see her and take care of her. i know she is going to be AMAZING!!!!!

i guess since this is my journal about pregnancy i should include everything... lately my feelings of insecurity about my weight have been getting really hard to deal with. don't get me wrong- i know that i am carrying a baby- and i wouldn't change that for anything! a little before i got pregnant, like in the spring of 08... i gained some weight and became really uncomfortable with that. while jon was on tour, i lost a lot of weight, and by the time he came back, i was in great shape and skinny and really happy with my body! then, a month later- i get pregnant... haha so i started gaining weight again. i just keep thinking how excited i am to have this baby and to get my body back. i am joining a gym and working out as soon as i am able to! i know i shouldn't let these things bother me, but being healthy and being in good shape is really important to me. so as a person who already had semi weight issues (nothing serious but just certain insecurities) gaining all this weight is a bit difficult :o(

so i haven't updated in a while! sorry! been so preoccupied with the holidays and everything!
i am doing GREAT! i feel awesome, the baby is feisty as ever, the only thing i can really complain about now is the back pain i'm having. it's more like cramping in my back- and it's horrible! haha it's not all the time but if i am sitting in a certain position for two long my back gets so cramped up! and it's really hard to find a comfy way to sit once it does that. other than that- no complaints :o) my belly is finally growing bigger! you can actually tell i am pregnant now at almost 7 months!!! in case anyone didn't know, i am now a little over 27 weeks, making me 7 months pregnant next thursday. there is literally only 3 months left... and that is IF i have her on her due date. i am hoping for a little sooner!!! so really i have anywhere from 2 and a half to 3 months till she is here! I CANNOT WAIT!!!!
tonight, jon and i went to the craft store to pick out our baby shower party favors. i can't believe there is only 1 week till the shower! we made a bunch so far, but i'll explain what they are... we bought these cute little glass candle holders and filled them with all different color marble kind of things (haha sorry i can't think of what they are called)... and then but cute little scented candles in them. they are wrapped in gift wrap with a little tag that says thank you on the ribbon, and a silver charm that says "it's a girl!" i will post pix of them once we finish :) we are actually almost half done and we just started tonight! i know i have been saying i am going to post a vlog FOREVER... but REALLY I AM GOING TO! since the baby shower is in a week, i think the first vlog will be preparing for the baby shower and then the baby shower itself :o) if anyone has any questions or anything they want me to answer in the vlog send it to me and i will talk about that too!
by the way- for anyone coming to my babyshower who may be reading this... jon and i are registered at babies r us! please get us gifts from our registry because we worked hard picking stuff out that we know we need! you can buy us stuff online too, just go to babiesrus.com and find a registry, then type in my name: Nicole Forras... or jon's name: Jonathan Avila!
